Lisa has broken Canadian Poker Tour records not only as a woman but just as a poker player.
She has been in the poker industry for over 20 years and loves being a female voice for poker. She worked in a local poker room for many years in Vancouver, starting as a waitress, floor person, dealer, manager, promoter, marketer, public relations manager, player and prop.
She was hired as a prop at a few of the largest online poker sites after a very thorough screening process. She did that for 4-5 years, starting new games and keeping existing games alive. She played exclusively short handed, which she attributes her success in poker tournaments to this asset.
Lisa and her husband Joon are the only couple in Canadian Poker Tour history to make it to a final table together but they are also the only poker couple to be on a televised event together as well.
Her accomplishments include:
* only player to have made the final table on a CPT televised event twice
* only woman to place in the money in both events at the Women's Poker Classic 2005
* placed 2nd at Cascades Casino’s “Women's Poker Classic” 2006 - Main Event
* placed 5th at Boulevard Casino's largest tournament (at that time) 2006
